EnviroMento is a 3D capture studio run as a sole proprietorship in Alaska, USA. This page explains what information we collect through enviromento.com and our services, why, and what we do with it. It goes with our Terms of Service.
What we collect
- When you contact us: what you put in the quote form or email us (name, email, project details, location, dates). The form sends your request to our mailbox (hosted by IONOS) as an email. We use it to reply and to quote your project.
- If you have an account: your name, email, company, plan and paid-until date; your password, stored only as a secure one-way hash we can't read; and, if you turn it on, your two-step verification key, stored encrypted.
- Security records: when accounts sign in or try to, with the IP address and browser, and a log of account changes and downloads. We use these to keep accounts safe and to look into problems.
- Your scenes: the 3D scenes and files we make for you, and the annotations, links and pictures you or we add to them. Each scene keeps a record of changes, including the name of the person who made each change, and recent earlier versions of its annotations so mistakes can be undone.
- Captures: the photos and scans we take on site. These can show the place and anything or anyone in it. We use them only to make your scene, don't sell or share them, and may delete them after the project. We can mask out people and other things on request.
We don't use advertising, tracking or analytics services, and we don't sell or rent your information.
Cookies and storage
If you sign in, one cookie keeps you signed in. It can't be read by the site's scripts and expires after 14 days. The scene viewer may remember a display preference in your browser. The admin area keeps a cache of its own app files in your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who else is involved
- IONOS hosts the website, database and scene files.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver the site's typeface and some of its code to your browser. Like any website, they receive your IP address when your browser asks for those files.
- Embeds: if a client puts one of their scenes on their own website, that website's own privacy policy applies to visitors there.
- Stripe processes online payments of invoices. You pay on Stripe's own secure page; we never see or store your card details, only that the payment was made.
We share information with others only when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Who can see your scenes
Scenes are private by default: only you, the people you've asked us to share them with, and EnviroMento can see them. A scene is shown to others only if you choose to make it unlisted (viewable by link) or public, or share an embed or link yourself. We show scenes on our own SCENES page only with permission.
Security
Connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, admin access requires two-step verification, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and scene files can only be fetched after their access has been checked. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
How long we keep things
Messages and quotes are kept as business records. Account information and hosted scenes are kept while you're a client. When you ask us to close your account, we delete it and your hosted scenes, except records we have to keep for tax, legal or security reasons. Security records are kept for up to a year; sign-in attempt records for 30 days.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you at any time. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
We'll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes. The date and version at the top show the latest.
